Sex work as a sociopolitical issue is used as a scapegoat to avoid addressing larger issues like poverty and violence against femmes. Sex work is not the problem and trying to make it disappear makes the problems worse.
Consent is conditional by design, it requires specific circumstances and/or conditions to be maintained continuously. The introduction of money or some material good as a requisite condition does not negate this basic fact.
I found myself as a Sex Worker and learned that this is actually my vocation, my "calling" and cherish the relationships I have established with my clients and my Sex Work community, especially my super supportive Bondassage® community, where I am now their Global Master Trainer.
The vast majority of sex worker organisations are not only grassroots and run by volunteer sex workers, but due to harmful legislation and policy such as the anti prostitution pledge, they are also often cut off from government funding.
If you’re anything like me, you may be worried about poor labour practices, environmental issues...and above all, that you’re not throwing your money at a business that’s sexist or whorephobic. Thanks to some inspired entrepreneurs worldwide, we do have better options.
