I have played hockey almost all of my adult life. The speed, skill, and physicality of the game are exhilarating. I play in a primarily men’s league, and nothing cheers me up more than time in the box for a roughing penalty.

The vast majority of sex worker organisations are not only grassroots and run by volunteer sex workers, but due to harmful legislation and policy such as the anti prostitution pledge, they are also often cut off from government funding.

I still remember I was so pumped in my first booking that the client had to tell me to calm down haha. It felt so easy and natural for me so I kept doing it. But it wasn’t until after several months into it that I fully comprehended the value of what I provide.

I knew I wanted to be a companion but I wanted to do something I like, I wanted to do something uncommon so all my work wouldn't rely on GFE which I think in certain cases can become very boring after a while.

Fighting stigma can be one of the most gruelling and dangerous parts of existing as a sex worker. With mainstream media projecting harmful and often false assumptions as to who sex workers are while simultaneously coopting our aesthetics, the battle to tell our own stories is ongoing.
