Stuck at home with my plants and it feels alright 🌱🍀

Some of my favorite movies I’ve watched this week:

We Live in Public
Destination Wedding
Biggest Little Farm
Peanut Butter Falcon
Saint Ralph

You know what’s sexy about this photo? The lack of panic buying

Day four:

-I’ve started walking around my apartment naked to try and catch my neighbors attention

-reorganized my closet. Twice.

-read for six hours straight because I can now 😍😍

Anyone read Relief of Unbearable Urges? I don't have a photo of it in my possession, but damn was that a good book.

One of the hardest things about this is learning to be more compassionate and patient. Nerves are raw and people are already on edge, and fractures are more easily seen. Empathy is easy when everything is fine. Do you guys have any tips on how to remember to be kind?

One of the best things to come out of this so far is that I’ve been able to connect to my neighbors. We were all strangers before, but now we feel like friends. I’m currently looking for other ways to help community in San Fran... can you guys drop links below?

identity and purpose and dream. If you are annoyed by the quarantine, that’s understandable. It sucks and it’s boring and lonely. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴.

The most effective way out of this crisis is by hunkering down now. ❤️

Flippancy about quarantining seems to be leaking into this industry... why are some people seeing it as a loss of freedom over an act of community care and prevention? As a country, what made us strong historically was our diversity and our ability to come together for a common

Guys, I want to put together a playlist to lift us up when it gets tough or when the isolation is hard or when it feels like everything is crashing down... what do you want to add?

So far I’ve added the gospel song When Trials Come, Nothings Gonna Hurt you Baby by Cigarettes

Current movie to watch while in Quarantine: We Live in Public, about the intersections of privacy (or lack thereof) and the internet age, and the birth of live-streaming of private people. Super interesting take on 90's dot com culture as well...

what is making you happy right at this moment?

God bless libraries... ain’t no shame in borrowing books. Also, this is a YA book you can read in a couple hours and I read it ages ago and thought of it the other day so read it again. Just as perfect the second time as the first 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Has anyone else gotten huge limit increases on their credit cards since the pandemic started? I know the economy as we know it is collapsing, but a boost on my card isn’t gonna tempt me to buy an iPad right now Chase... it’s time to rethink the bottomless pit of consumerism 🤨🤨

Day two update:

-I’ve started to hate my jawline and can’t stop staring at it

-I rearranged my apartment meticulously, then immediately hated it and switched it back

-gnawed on raw celery

-watched four movies

I’ve seen a lot of people dealing with the pandemic in different ways. Some are stocking up, some are using humor, some are using social distancing as an opportunity to work on projects they haven’t had time for, and some are glued to the news. What are you doing to feel safe
