The smart guys, I like to think I’m in that group, know that it’s not okay to ask specific questions about service, but we don’t want someone to take advantage of us either.

How do we know what to expect without asking what we should expect?

How does one go about getting screened?

And... I’ve always wanted to trade favors with someone. I’m a professional IT expert and website designer. Is it appropriate to ask about that about trading?

@enigma Bottom line is, you can't use specific language or acronyms to describe sexual acts in exchange for money...and or trade of services. That is considered prostitution and is illegal. If you are a *smart* person you will learn how to read innuendo and what is left unspoken between the eyes. A wink and a smile say more than 1000 words...😉

@enigma okay, so, lot’s here:

1) ask about services privately, via (secure) email or secure messenger, but be polite about it, and accept their response.
2) screening is something providers do, the best you can do here is encourage providers to screen for safety & to educate fellow clients as to screening, to ensure they will do it

@enigma trading services is a big no-no, always go for fixed cash values, as then there’s a clear expectation. You might offer you’re services as a professional, but also understand a lot of providers are one-woman (one-person) shows, meaning they know how to code or manage a website, etc.
