@easymorning @delphine yep, it's stunning and i am obsesssssed. checks all of my boxes: period dramas, touches of magical realism & horror, and a buncha white guys constantly being wrong/eaten.
@omgheatherjana @delphine 😂😂 Exactly! It's kinda like a case study in terrible decisions by white guys. And the magical realism/monster spin on a historical event is incredibly unique and fun.

@delphine I think it's on Amazon Prime if you have that. If not, another good horror rec is "Teeth" from 2007. Way subversive and fun, and I think it's on Netflix.

@delphine The ending that wasn't was my favorite part. Reminds me of I think Amazing Stories where the pregnant cop gets abducted by...things and wakes up over and over in increasingly bad situations.

@delphine I actually just came out of the movie theater. I was watching A Quiet Place. It was truly suspenseful and scary. Much better than I thought it would. On one scene, the lady next to me jumped and grabbed her husband’s arm and my arm too and made me jump which made my date scream. It was so funny!
