A restful evening with wine after a day of the World Cup and wine. Tomorrow is a holiday in Canada. I have a decadent day planned for tomorrow. Finnish pancakes for breakfast. World cup with a Ramon Fizz break (to combat the 35C weather) then ribs with wine.

I'm sorry but I'm being a hermit this weekend drinking wine and scotch watching the World Cup.

We often expect perfection from others even though we know it can't be achieved. To be human means you have flaws and there is nothing wrong with that.

I have found one of the biggest defects people have is taking for granted those we care for which can unfortunately lead to unpleasant consequences.

Remember whenever you enter into a new relationship no-one ever shows their true self. People will at the beginning will only show a good side. It takes time for their bad side to emerge.

Is there anything better after a busy day than to enjoy a good bottle of wine with a good Cuban cigar? Life is good even if the news may not be.

Wine is best shared with good company but remember in an emergency it is ok to drink alone!

Imagination is what brings magic to our existence and helps us cope with the harsh reality our world constantly imposes on us.

I had to be a hero this Thursday and rescue some wine trapped in a bottle.

I do believe using these three words enhances any relationship: "I bought wine." 😀🍷🍷

If she's honest, laid back, enjoy her wine, has a dirty mind and vocabulary, eats pizza and lets you touch her butt, Marry her!
