These days I tend to think the path to undoing capitalism is making it irrelevant rather than attacking it head-on. Capitalism has a hard time co-opting threats it doesn't know are threats
@amydentata I have given this a great deal of thought.
To be done with awareness that if / as soon as it realises there is a threat it will physically aim to destroy, if too late to co-opt.
It is definitely necessary. It is already happening.
The greatest power is when the people realise they can just do things among and for themselves.
If only they can overcome their fear

@amydentata I really like what jess has been saying on twitter about base building and revolutionary efforts, and how building alternative structures is the way to go
Not to be pessimistic but I'd still be wary of capitalism's ability to co-opt things even if they seem safe from it, often using charities as a Trojan horse. Ask me about how the french "recycling" and re-use industry developed, there's a lot to unpack there.
That's still a worthwhile endeavour though, I'm all for non-confrontational alternatives
