I’m a big sport fan! I come from a sports loving and playing family. We had season tickets to football and constantly went to baseball and basketball games. Everyone in my family played a sport or 3.

I have played hockey almost all of my adult life. The speed, skill, and physicality of the game are exhilarating. I play in a primarily men’s league, and nothing cheers me up more than time in the box for a roughing penalty.

Clinical psychologist and sex therapist Dr. David Ley has long been critical of the sex addiction framework, and wrote the book The Myth of Sex Addiction to explain why. I sat down with him to explore why sex addiction is a problematic concept, and how it contributes to whorephobia.

Sex-negativity and whorephobia are the societal norm, and it’s very unusual to be in a relationship with someone who can handle my job without doing some serious work on themselves first.

I found myself as a Sex Worker and learned that this is actually my vocation, my "calling" and cherish the relationships I have established with my clients and my Sex Work community, especially my super supportive Bondassage® community, where I am now their Global Master Trainer.
