THREAD @Walgreens@twitter.com

a pharmacist lectured me about my pain meds and told me he thought I didn't look like in pain, and wanted to know if I was going to sell them.

Lots of other shit--I called corporate, they told me that they can refuse anyone pain meds. I go to kroger now

@zoezane happened a while ago. to me. and corporate said that with pain meds their policy is refuse to ANYONE. So they profile people.

Another lady was showing how she went to walgreens bc her baby died and she would need to do a D&C or RX to induce miscarriage.

SO standing with her daughter the pharmacist lectured her and said it was against his ethics to give her "abortion meds"

@KLttyKat I have some nerves even make any assumptions for all they could’ve known your doctor could a gave you meds until your prescription is filled

@KLttyKat opps I’m meant @walgreens having the nerves to even make An assumption or to even insinuate

@KLttyKat rhat is bullshit was the pharmacists did, its none of his business K

@zoezane agreed. that thread was another woman in AZ who got scolded bc she was having a miscarriage.

The pharmacist who refused me was bc I was rx'd pain meds. and I didn't "look in pain"

@KLttyKat Uh if you have a prescription from a doctor that sounds like something that should be a tiny bit illegal there. I can think of about 500 ways that could actually kill someone just because "Eh. Don't feel like handing em over."

@Diff IKR. but opiates are SO HEAVILY regulated, and they have a "15 point check system" and it is ultimately up to the pharmacist to fill opiate orders.

Chronic Pain patients have very little in the way of rights.

NOW what he did to that woman... something prolly CAN be done there. and she did call the state board.
