Okay, friends. This time is draining in so many ways for so many people.
🔲 you want a few moments of escape
🔲 you enjoy classic songs of all stripes
🔲 you enjoy metal covers of classic songs
you might enjoy Two Minutes To Late Night's "Bedroom Covers" project. Members of many, many metal bands are recording covers from their homes, one song a week.
INCLUDES metal make-up that isn't gory, but is meant to resemble blood. INCLUDES swearing. No depictions of violence.

Code and Science
I've not taken a look at the code myself, and I'm highly skeptical that I could really provide meaningful feedback on it, but I've seen some articles defending Imperial's implementation of Ferguson's COVID model and most seem to fall back on "normal for Scientific code" or "SW Engineers are too expensive" and even "C++ has too many footguns".
Why are any of those a remotely acceptable defense for poor code quality?
A lot of folks just aren't bothering with masks, despite their utility. I'm becoming more and more convinced that mediocre patterns/masks are part of the issue.
Of course the facts that masks become uncomfortable, and that they quickly become frustratingly humid, are big reasons. People's nonchalance based on their not getting sick yet is assuredly a cause.
Very nice designs were coming out of eastern Asia around the time the western world started to take action.
Fuck the Far East though, right? Nations dealing with horrible circumstances and SUCCESSFULLY combining government and community action to responsibly decrease infection numbers?
COMMUNISM, BOIS! Plain & simple! Cain't larn nuthin' thar!
Sup, just a fan of this environment. Currently based in Florida. I love weird conversations. Like how's the word "little" bigger than "big"?
